[Hopkinton, MA — January 18, 2022] EchoStor Technologies is proud to announce the development of their new Cloud & MSP Solutions Business Unit. This business unit has built enterprise managed services offerings, such as Backup as a Service and ServiceNow Remote Services. The goal is to assist customers in navigating their transition to SaaS and Cloud based services through managed services and Cloud consulting services no matter the Cloud of choice.
Heading up this business unit will be Daniel Clydesdale-Cotter, VP – Cloud & MSP Solutions, a long-time EchoStor customer turned technologist. Daniel joined EchoStor two years ago and has been a driving force behind EchoStor’s technical strategy ever since.
“These are exciting times. As we simplify our go-to-market to best align with the needs of our customers, the Cloud & MSP Solutions team will be focused on helping them evolve and grow their digital business,” said Scott Trinque, co-founder and President of EchoStor. “We couldn’t have a better leader for this team than Daniel, who has worked tirelessly over the last year developing the strategy and customer centric approach for this business unit.”
Joining Daniel on the team, among others, are Brian Peets, Seth Piontek and Jim Kelley.
Brian Peets, Principal Cloud Architect, is a technologist at heart and passionate about all things “cloud.” He has spent over fifteen years helping large enterprise customers overcome challenges by aligning technology with business outcomes. Now at EchoStor, he is eager to bring a common sense approach to a new set of clients using a combination of people, process, and tools to add value to their organizations.
Seth Piontek, Cloud Architect, has twelve years of enterprise IT experience which includes three years focused in AWS and Azure. Seth is a certified Azure and AWS architect; and his focus is helping organizations design and deploy highly resilient cloud, multi-cloud, and cloud agnostic environments to help them achieve business outcomes in the highly dynamic Cloud landscape.
Jim Kelley, Cloud & MSP Solutions Sales Specialist, has six years of experience selling into the datacenter, with a heavy focus on Cloud & Managed Services. He services accounts from small startups to large enterprises, bringing a consultative approach to ensuring his customers achieve their desired business outcomes.
From Daniel Clydesdale-Cotter, on the mission of the Cloud & MSP Solutions Business Unit:
“At our core, we are bridging the gap between our customers’ traditional on-premises data center and their Cloud and SaaS digital transformation journey. Features and functionality such as Virtualization, Network and Security, and Data Resiliency have been the cornerstone of enterprise IT; on top of which organizations have built their business capabilities with the peace of mind their data and applications will be available and scale to their needs.
Through Cloud consultative services and EchoStor managed services, we will help our customers navigate their journey to SaaS and Cloud services; whilst ensuring the enterprise IT features and functionality their business have come to rely upon are available, no matter where their data and applications reside.”
