Sales Engineer

Description

EchoStor Technologies is searching for a self-motivated, team oriented technical engineer with a passion for consultative selling. This resource will join a growing sales engineering team that is influencing and supporting an innovative and driven sales team. This resource will be involved as a trusted advisor to EchoStor’s customer base and will collaborate with various internal roles, such as sales, marketing and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Become long term trusted advisor to customers
  • Meet with key customers on a periodic basis
  • Collaborate with new customers
  • Responsible for discussing core and strategic product sets
  • Engage subject matter expert as needed as informative purposes
  • Maintain knowledgebase through training, conferences, workshops, publications and professional networks
  • Participate in development and execution of sales campaigns
  • Design technical solutions to solve business challenges
  • Blueprint or design generation using various tools
  • Develop scopes to complete the necessary deployment/integration services
  • Work with the Sales Team to build proposals
  • Build Statement of Work documents describing the terms of services to customers and the EchoStor Project Management team
  • Create presentations describing the value proposition of your proposed solution
  • Present/Message various technologies at customer events
  • Collaborate with other SE team members
  • Collaborate with SE's from other vendors for technical and sales updates and progressing sales campaigns

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Familiarity with product offerings from DellEMC, NetApp, VMware, Cisco, ServiceNow, AWS and others
