Sales Engineer

Description

EchoStor Technologies is searching for a self-motivated, team oriented technical engineer with a passion for consultative selling. This resource will join a growing sales engineering team that is influencing and supporting an innovative and driven sales team. This resource will be involved as a trusted advisor to EchoStor’s customer base and will collaborate with various internal roles, such as sales, marketing and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Become long term trusted advisor to customers
  • Meet with key customers on a periodic basis
  • Collaborate with new customers
  • Responsible for discussing core and strategic product sets
  • Engage subject matter expert as needed as informative purposes
  • Maintain knowledgebase through training, conferences, workshops, publications and professional networks
  • Participate in development and execution of sales campaigns
  • Engage Subject Matter Expert as needed to advance sales campaign(s)
  • Configuration requests/creation of final configuration
  • Blueprint or design generation
  • Services scope request
  • Pricing Support
  • Statement of work creation
  • Presentation and review of services scope and price
  • Support other SE team members
  • Collaborate with Vendor Se for technical and sales updates, which are shared with other SE and Sales resources

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Familiarity with EMC, NetApp, VMware, Cisco, ServiceNow, AWS and Palo Alto prefered
